Porto Cervo - Sardinia

17th July 16' @ Porto Cervo, the capital of Costa Smeralda

Porto Cervo - one of the world's most prestigious tourist destination which located on the northeast coast of Sardinia. It was created in the 60's by "Prince Karim Aga Khan" who was fascinated by the beauty of these coast, he bought these lands and constructed the first hotel.

Porto Cervo was once an exclusive retreat for the international jetset and now it is still one of the most luxurious place in the world. A small village that positioned in a natural port surrounded by hills. The land and seascapes here are incredibly beautiful.

Porto Cervo is also considered one of the most welcoming marinas in the Mediterranean which attracts the most exclusive yachts in the world.

In the center of Porto Cervo, there is a parade of beautiful yachts and you can enjoy a fascinating walk where you can admire the extraordinary view with exclusive yacht in the crystal clear water surrounded from beautiful villas. It's definitely worth the visit to Porto Cervo during the trip in Sardinia.

Cala Mariolu - Sardinia

@ Cala Mariolu - Sardinia

"Cala Mariolu" beach is one of my favourite paradise beach that I've visited in Sardinia during this summer trip.  "Cala Mariolu" is considered one of the most precious beach of Sardinia which located along the East-Coast of the beautiful island of Sardinia.

Cala Mariolu beach have it's own uniqueness and beauty. The beach is fully covered with round, smooth & silky pebbles that caused by the eternal movements of the sea water.

With the amazing Turquoise-Emerald colour of the sea water and the level of clarities from the sea water, this beach turns out to be the best destination for scuba-diving and snorkelling.

The surrounding of Cala Mariolu beach has no accommodation or hotels. There is only limestones cliffs and caves around this beach. Due to it's location, during the most heat afternoon.. Cara Mariolu beach is rests in the shades of the limestones rocks.

This beach is non reachable by land vehicles. It is mainly reachable by boat. But for those who love hiking, Cala Mariolu is reachable, and to trek to the beach it involves a distance of 6 kilometres  of walking.. while hiking approximately 100 meters up-hill and 600 meters down-hill. It could takes up to 3 hours of hiking to reach to Cala Mariolu.

This beach is a paradise and it is practically empty. It's almost feel like I'm on a personal little island. There is no doubt that this was my best experience and the most beautiful place I've ever visited among all my previous sea trips.

Road Trip ~ West Cork Coast Tour ( Part 2 )

Follow on from Gougane-Barra, we then continued our journey towards our next destination " Galley Head Lighthouse ".  While on the journey we stop by this small town called Skibbereen.

In the mean time while we are having out little break, I've come across this cute little guest house called "Bridge House" which catches my eyes. I think it's quite special and unique.

They have this little charming quote that hanging in front of the door.. "Enter as Strangers.. Leave as Friends".

We finally arrived on our next destination which is the "Galley Head Lighthouse" which located on the Dundeady headland, over looking two beautiful beaches (Red Strand which is to the West) & (Long Strand to the East).

The lighthouse have been restored by the Irish Landmark trust for people who wish to stay in the Lightkeeper's House which offer self catering accommodation. The lighthouse has a distinct charm about it, perched on those cliffs overlooking the ocean.

And below is the beautiful breath taking scenery towards the Galley Head Lighthouse with a little company from our little friend ...

Road Trip ~ West Cork Coast Tour ( Part 1 )

It's been a while now since I'm on a road trip around Ireland. Today with the accompany of the amazing weather that we seldom have, we've finally decided to go on the West Cork Coast Tour.

We started our first destination - Gougane-Barra, Ballingeary.

On our arrival at Gougane Barra,  we met the natural beauty of the Gougane Barra Lake and the well known St Finbarr's Oratory which is a small church out in the lake on the little island on it's own.

The scenery in this area is breath taking and it is worth to spend some little time out and enjoy a coffee or even just enjoy the tranquil views of the lake and mountains in this little peaceful valley.

At the back of this valley, there is this little hiking trails which leads to the mountain walk.

We went up to the mountains and here we arrived at the top.. looking down at beautiful nature scenery of Gougane Barra.

❤ Pamukkale ~ The cotton castle ❤

Right here I go.. My Journey for this summer break just start now :)

I love to travel around the globe and heading towards Turkey is one of the country that I had listed on " my travel list of places that I wanted to visit " .  While I was doing some research and planning to Turkey, I came across this beautiful white cotton castle which they called it "Pamukkale" which located @ Kusadasi.  So here I decided to go there and here goes my journey.

Pamukkale the meaning of the "cotton castle" in turkish. The reason of it was called the "white cotton castle" is because Pamukkale is formed by the spring water which is rich in minerals.

Pamukkale is a tourist attraction and it is recognised as a world heritage site together with Hierapolis. The underground volcanic activity which causes the hot springs also forced carbon dioxide into a cave, which was called Plutonium.

In this area there are 17 hot springs and the water from the hot spring that has over thousands of years.

The water emerges from the hot spring to the head of the travertine terrace and had formed thick layers of mineral deposits as lime-stones along the cliff face and till today the cliff is as white as chalk and it does looks like a frozen waterfalls.

Pamukkale is a truly iconic site. The fairyland of Pamukkale is a must-see traveling through this region during a journey to Turkey.

"Strangers" again ..

There is nothing worst that loosing who you thought was once your best friend. It is one of the worst feelings when you sadly come to the realisation that you're slowly drifting apart with one of your closest friends and you're dying of the huge truth that is going to hit you right across your face. That will waken you up to acknowledge you're losing that friend you always thought that would always be the one of your best friend for as long as possible.

It actually wounds.. eats and haunts you to know your friendship is in jeopardy. Sadly that you know that you can't actually do anything to stop it from falling apart. When you see that there isn't putting any of the effort to reattach back the friendship as it was before, so it can live on and create more beautiful moments that both can cherish in heart and in mind all over again. It's hurts deeply..

How can you let go of someone you've grown so attach to that you're afraid of change without them there in your life? We know things happen for a reason.. But even though everything's changed.. I just want you to know I'm still here. I'll be here for you whenever your needed. I don't care what time it is.. or what I'm doing. Don't hesitate to talk to me.. because half of the time I just wish that you were talking to me. I really miss your presence, I miss you being my best friend.. I just missed you in general.

People Changed .. Memories Don't

Love ...

Love it's like a double-edge sword. It can placed you on top of the world but it can also cut you.. Deeper than any wound you've ever known. You can live.. Yet, you are dead; You can see.. Yet, you are blind; You can talk.. But, with no voice; You can breath.. Even when your breath has been taken away; and You can love.. But, Yet you remain with no heart..

Sometimes a past relationship can hurt you so bad until you simply want to escape. You find refuge, solace.. some place that you can hide or even run away from the world.

" Love can be a strange and funny thing. They say that when you least expect it, Love will takes its form in the unlikeliest manner "

Have you ever wondered sometimes, Could all this be real? the happy times.. the sad times.. the times that we had struggle to pull through. When you look back to the times, what is it like? Feeling the warm and holding the hands for the very first time. Some believe that no matter how far you go, You will always remember and It is the cut that is always the deepest.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to let it go.. Heavy Hearts, Sweet Memories.
